Mold prevention in garment, footwear & leather industries

Mold can ruin product shipments, wasting resources, causing financial distress and disrupting business relationships. The factors that cause mold are varied, and so too are the methods to mitigate risk and prevent mold from forming. From silica dessicants to dry rooms to shipping distances and packaging materials, there is much to be learned and applied both during and after production. On October 30th, 2018 from 9.00am until 4.00pm SMART Myanmar is hosting an international expert from Bureau Veritas to conduct a public seminar on mold awareness & prevention in the garment, footwear and leather production industries.

In addition, on Oct. 29th, 31st and Nov. 1st three factories will receive a free mold prevention systems assessment by the expert from Bureau Veritas and technical staff from SMART Myanmar. Factories successfully participating in the assessment will receive a brief assessment report by Bureau Veritas.
