On July 3rd and 4th, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, together with the European Union's SWITCH Programme projects SMART Myanmar and Tha Bar Wa Project (WWF), are jointly organizing a conference in Naypyitaw on environmental regulations, especially related to "environmental management plans" and environmental impact assessment procedures relevant for the garment, textile and food & beverage industries. Further details will be posted soon. The audience is intended to be local business associations and ministry staff, as well as others working with the Myanmar government on environmental regulations.
