SMART partner, the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and Pacific (ADFIAP) conducted a "Green Finance Policy Framework" workshop on November 26th and 27th, 2018 at Sedona Hotel, Yangon.  This two-day workshop for members of the Myanmar Banks Association is relevant for banks as the seek to implement green lending policies within their institutions. Over 60 participants from member banks of the Myanmar Banks Association (MBA) attended this workshop.

The event was opened by SMART project Director Julia Dittenhauser, with opening remarks for the meeting given by Dr. Thaung Han, Vice-Chairman of the MBA. The meeting and training sessions were led by Cecilia Ibarra and Bert Reyno from ADFIAP.
