  • On-site consultancy programs. As of early 2017, these include the SMART Social Compliance Academy (6 month on-site assessment & training program for medium & large sized factories), the SCORE Program (On-site training program for smaller factories) and the SMART Energy Efficiency Program (on-site energy assessment & reduction plan).
  • HR Management Labs: 3-day long workshop modules, taught 3-4 times per year, on topics including grievance mechanisms and workplace communications, monitoring turnover, orientation & training, remuneration, etc.
  • Training for local banks on green financial products & services.
  • Developing women’s community centers for garment workers in industrial zones.
  • Developing SMART phone apps on labour laws and occupational health & safety topics.
  • Facilitating public-private dialogues on environmental sustainability, workplace safety & health and other topics related with promoting responsible manufacturing and transparent business practices.
  • Promotion of Codes of Conduct for the whole garment sector.
  • Assessment and advisement of sustainability criteria within public procurement procedures.
  • Capacity building of the project’s local partner MGMA.
  • Various special seminars, events and consultancies on topics related with energy efficiency, workplace safety & health, workplace communications and environmental management.
